I have been drawing, painting and taking pictures for as long as I can remember. After attending the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design, I somehow managed to get by making art for a living one way or another. Sometimes that meant design work for a local library, painting custom mural commissions, or doing art classes with children.
Every 8 months or so, I usually felt like I needed a fresh start either moving somewhere else, or trying something different... but when I started tattooing 15 years ago, it felt like a perfect next step and after those first 8 months in, I knew I was sticking with it. I love getting to take peoples ideas and bring them to life:)
When I first left Cape Breton, I spent my first 5 or so years living in Halifax's North End, so I am so happy to be able to have my little studio here now. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
