I have been drawing, painting and taking pictures for as long as I can remember. After attending the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design, I somehow managed to get by making art for a living one way or another. Sometimes that meant design work for a local library, painting custom mural commissions, or doing art classes with children.
Every 8 months or so, I usually felt like I needed a fresh start either moving somewhere else, or trying something different... but when I started tattooing 17 years ago, it felt like a perfect next step and after those first 8 months in, I knew I was sticking with it. I love getting to take peoples ideas and bring them to life:)
After tattooing in Halifax for all of my career (with a year apprenticeship in Truro) I have finally taken the leap to move my studio closer to home as of June 2025. I'm now operating in a beautiful new building with big windows overlooking a tree lined trail, near the ocean. This was the best decision to be closer to my kids and ditch the commute and headaches that come with working in the city core. 🖤
