I have been drawing, painting and taking pictures for as long as I can remember. After attending the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design, I somehow managed to get by making art for a living one way or another. Sometimes that meant design work for a local library, painting custom mural commissions, or doing art classes with children.

Every 8 months or so, I usually felt like I needed a fresh start either moving somewhere else, or trying something different... but when I started tattooing 16 years ago, it felt like a perfect next step and after those first 8 months in, I knew I was sticking with it. I love getting to take peoples ideas and bring them to life:)

When I first left Cape Breton, I spent my first 5 or so years living in Halifax's North End, so I have been so happy to be able to have my little, unintimidating studio here. After 8.5 years in my wonderful space, however, it is time to move things closer to home. I will be opening my studio in St. Margaret's Bay in June, in a beautiful new building with big windows overlooking a tree lined trail, near the ocean. This was the best decision to be closer to my kids and ditch the commute and headaches that come with working in the city core. 🖤
