On the booking day you can email me OR message the facebook page to send in an appointment request. Please do not send to BOTH. (I do not use Instagram DMs for appointments)
*You must include what you want to get tattooed, placement, approximate sizing (which may have to be modified based on detail/placement, I may suggest a different size), and style (black and grey, watercolor, realism, etc). Sending reference photos along with your initial request helps immensely. This also includes pictures of scars to be covered, and sometimes photos of the area the tattoo is going on, especially if there is other work near there. If you want to rework or add on to an existing piece I also need photos of those. Including your available days/times for that month is now required as it helps cut down on back and forth messaging. I cannot proceed without all this key information. Please see the contact page for my hours before sending your preferable times (ie: I do not work weekends)
*If you have a budget in mind, by all means please include that as well. I can let you know if it is realistic or could suggest some things to make it work.
*I ask that you please keep it brief. I understand there is meaning behind a lot of tattoos but it's difficult to read through so many long emails and try and pick out the specific tattoo details in long explainations. So please just stick to the tattoo details. Also sometimes it can be overwhelming for me to read so many emotionally charged emails first thing in the morning!
*If you send a message or email in before the booking day, it will get lost in the queue, so you must resend it on the actual booking day for me to see it. I have an auto responder set up letting you know the next booking date. On booking day, everybody gets the auto-responder... so no need to resend your request again unless you left out any information that is asked for in the autoresponder.
It is not first come/first served, but the earlier you get your request in the better chance you have as sometimes I have to cut requests off once appts are full. Then I spend the next few hours responding to those who've gotten appointments.
*Please please please be sure of what you want. Sounds simple, but if you aren't committed then please wait to book in. If I take on your project, the deposit is solely for the design/placement you booked in for. Your request acts as an online consult. I can't take your request if you, yourself, still don't have the ideas fully formed yet. If you start sending in more ideas or want to add on after the fact, then I cannot guarantee your spot as it was booked based on the original specs. There likely isn't extra time to add on to your appt. Getting everything out up front helps reduce continuous back and forth msging and keeps me sane. With booking days set in advance it gives you plenty of notice to form your ideas :) You are just one person but if everyone started msging again with new or different ideas it would be completely overwhelming.
This goes for sizing as well. If I suggest a different size in my response to you and you agree and book in, please respect that & do not try and talk me into doing it at the original size you wanted afterwards. I suggest these things for a reason and know what can work. My name is attached to this work and I want it to look good for the both of us!
*I will not copy tattoos or pictures you found online, but will use those images as reference when designing your tattoo. I do custom work, and want people to have their own tattoo... So instead of sending a picture of an existing tattoo or something off pinterest and saying "I want this", you must be specific and give me information stating what you like about it (or what you don't like). What can be changed or if there's any particular element that's more important then another that should stay included... I need to know you're open to me taking that reference and designing something unique from it but with guidence from you. (Alternatively, saying I have complete creative freedom can backfire as tattoos are subjective and we all have different thoughts on what we like so I could spend all day throwing out ideas at you only to never find something you like that works.)
*I'm currently taking on SOME projects that include coverups again after not taking any for a couple of years. I have also started taking om reworks/additions to other artists work again. This will be on a case by case basis with no guarentee your project will be chosen. I'll only be taking on exisitng floral work if I think I can turn your piece into something that works with my style. I will consider non-floral work as well, but like always, floral and animals take priority. If your request involves work not by me, you must include pictures of the existing tattoo in the original request otherwise I have no idea what is possible with it :)
*If you are inquiring about a scar cover, you need to include a good picture of the scar in your original request. Otherwise I have no idea what might be possible with it. I appreciate you sharing it with me and want you to feel comfortable, to me it is only skin and I would also never share before and after photos without your premission.
*If you want to add on to something we have already done or started, please send photos of what we've done. It's much easier for me to have it all together (and remember lol) for when the time comes to design around it.
*You must be ready to send a deposit when we confirm your appointment. If I don't recieve a deposit the appointment is not booked and I move on to the next person so please check for my responses. I like to wrap up my bookings the same day so please respond and don't forget to check your junk mail!
*If you reschedule within 48 hours of your booked appt you forfeit your deposit. Please see the page on deposits (link below) for all information.
*Please keep in mind the types of tattoos you may see here, as I give priority to things such as floral work, animals and other nature themes. I cannot take on every request, as I'm only one person and the month fills up quickly. Also, it might just be that I don't have any availability left for your preferred days/times especially if you're availability is very limited (or you didn't read my hours!). I also might not take on your project if it's too specific in your request (ex: placement may not work; can't fit 12 birth flowers into a certain space; you won't go bigger then 1.5 inches). Basically I need to feel I can have some creative control and some freedom to give you the best possible piece. Alternatively, sometimes requests are too vague and I cannot read your mind or decipher what you want out of a bunch of reference photos with no explainations...I also can't tell you what may represent something for you as these things are very subjective and personal. (ex: something that represents the ocean for you; something that honors your grandmother).
*Please be kind if I don't take on your request.
*If you don't hear back from me, it's likely because of something outlined above on this page, it's just not subject matter I'd be taking on right now, or I literally just ran out of appt times... there's only so much available tattoo time! Please read the FAQ page for lots more info!
*If you are getting an appointment, I will reach out and we'll finalize the booking. Other then that, I'll have all I need to create your design so you will likely not hear from me until the day before your appointment when I send out a pre appt screening/confirmation (which is now a riddle because it's more fun then just asking if you will be here for your appointment - so please respond:)
*Approval and acceptance of the design and the finished tattoo concludes our transaction when you leave the studio satisfied.
If you wish to alter, add or change anything after the fact, it is not considered a 'touch up'. You will be charged a base fee to go towards the cost of the set up for any new alteration. This is why it is important to let me know you are happy after the end result when we finish your tattoo. (I cannot read your mind) Otherwise it is a preference change and not a touch up :D (More on this and actual touch ups can be found on the FAQs page)
I want to thank everyone for their interest in my work!
